Privacy overview
Privacy at Atlas
Atlas does not require an account. Your game progress stays in your browser unless you choose to export a backup.
Effective September 30, 2026Information stored on your device
Atlas uses browser storage for your theme, completed games, quiz answers, Daily Atlas history, learning progress, and earned postcards. Active map position and unfinished non-daily rounds are temporary. You can export progress or clear saved game history from Settings.
This information is used to restore your experience in the same browser. Atlas does not use it to create an account or personal profile.
Analytics
Atlas uses Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate site usage and performance, such as which pages are visited and whether the site is working reliably. Atlas does not ask you to provide a name, email address, or precise location to play.
Advertising
Advertising is currently disabled in Atlas. Publisher verification metadata does not itself serve advertisements. If advertising is enabled in future, this notice will be updated to explain the applicable cookies, partners, and choices.
Before advertising is enabled, any consent platform required for the audience and region must be configured and verified. Game menus, personal progress, and simple completion screens are kept ad-free.

Children and younger players
Atlas is a general-audience geography game and does not knowingly collect names, contact details, or account profiles from children. Advertising will be configured with age-appropriate restrictions wherever applicable law or the audience requires them.
